Wansfell View Lodge Hot Tub
Wansfell View Lodge benefits from a luxurious sunken hot tub on a private veranda. Enjoy the fresh Cumbrian air as you relax in 30 degree plus waters with invigorating body massage jets to ease the muscles after the days exploration. A holiday without a hot tub just doesn’t cut it anymore.
Things to Do Nearby
There is plenty to do and see without the need to travel far. It is only a few miles to the traditional Lake District towns of Ambleside or Bowness-on-Windermere where there are some buildings which date as far back as the 17th century and exhibit their original architecture.
For the more adventurous, the visitor centre at Brockhole is certainly worthy of a visit. Set on the shores of the world-renowned Lake Windermere, many activities are included in the entrance price, with something to interest all ages, notably the ‘Tree Top Trek’.
Just slightly further afield is Coniston Water or the charming Lake District towns of Kendal (famous for its Mint Cake) and Keswick. Also popular with young and old alike is the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’ based in the town of Bowness. The Lake District is undeniably one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of the UK, great for dog trails with welcoming pubs.
Wansfell View Lodge is open all year round and offers a perfect base from which to explore ‘The Lakes’ for the first time or the hundredth.

I arrived to typical lake district weather however the lodge provided a nice warm retreat for me and my family to relax dry out and warm up! Wansfell View is well equiped, with a modern kitchen and comfortable living area.
The hot tub is sunk into the outside decking area which really adds to the privacy. The lodge is located on a quiet, peaceful park with lots of direct walking paths out to explore the Lake District.

Just had a week at the Wansfell View lodge and what a week it was, the lodge is first class & in a superb location the views from the park are stunning especially by the kids play area.
The hot tub got a lot of use. The park is kept spotless & staff are helpful & friendly and not too intrusive. Spoilt for choice of walks and bike paths around the area.
Ideal for familys or anyone wanting a quiet retreat to escape to the great outdoors, absolutely loved it!

Spent 4 fun nights at the Wanfell View lodge in what was a beautifully presentedholiday home. Everything we needed was included, we cooked in most night and all the important culinary equipment was available. I cvouldn’t get my husband out of the hot tub he loved it that much.
Great spot for family breaks, plenty to do in and around the Lake District to keep everyone entertained. Top marks for cleanliness and attention to detail.
